I'm a sucker for werewolf stories. So I had to read. I would have tightened it here and there but overall I feel you managed to create an atmosphere of mystery that entices the reader to come back to find out what fate has in store for Hermann. I like the added German/Austrian flavour, too.
You set the hook quick with the first few paragraphs as Jim alluded in his comment. Now I'm salivating for the next part! To be a bit flip at first take, dare I say 'werewolf whisperer'? Sorry! No, your tale has a definite unique tone to it that I want to see to the end!
I started out expecting to scan the first couple of paragraphs and ended up reading every word. Loved it! But I wouldn't want to walk in Hermann's shoes.
So excited to read this! Well done on this opening chapter, Daniel. Loving the style, the tone, the depth to everything. You never disappoint!
This is a really intriguing start! Scary, grim, very well written
Thank you, Shaina! Also, thank you so much for sharing it. ❤️
Nicely done.
This was genuinely entertaining! I’m a picky reader and you kept my attention the whole time. Loved this, the atmosphere, the ✨ flavor ✨
I’m blushing! Thank you so much, Maya!
