So spot on. Social media has supposedly connected us but has disconnected us in much bigger ways. It has made the world flatter but instead of richer the world around us has become thinner.
Wow. This hits hard at what I hate most about the disconnection of the modern world, even as I engage it here on the screen. Really well done Daniel. I like your prose very much, but I like this poem the most.
Harsh, brutal, and so real. I suppose we all know someone who literally died alone at sometime during our life. I know I have. And while we all say, softly, to ourselves, how sad, we simply go on with life as though we've turned the page, forgetting them in time, and only remembering them when we're reminded of them...and that's a sad reality.
This is brutal and sad, but it nails the shallowness of social media beautifully.

Another moving piece by Daniel. The realness of it hits like a gut punch as we contemplate our own actions.
Truth. Glad I deleted FB/IG/WhatsApp. Good work, Daniel!
That was pretty brutal, and I mean that as a compliment. Especially right before Christmas.

I can relate!
😢
Damn. This is all too real.
Now how am I supposed to express my appreciation for this indictment of the lazy and banal? I shall have to contemplate.
