I knew that fox wasn't done with him yet! Very creepy, and wonderful characterization throughout. Enjoyed this one a lot :-)

Thank you so much for mentioning the characterization. That was so wonderful to read, since the character(s) were based on some actual relatives of mine at whose feet I used to sit and listen to stories of the Depression. Such a weird time—almost stranger than fiction!

That makes it even better! And so true about the Depression being a weird time. My great grandmother's story is almost too wild to be believed. My relatives didn't necessarily tell Depression stories, but they definitely had some interesting quirks as a result of that time (like washing and reusing tin foil), etc. that always made an impression on me.
