Daniel, you may have defined creativity definitely in this chapter: ‘For all I know, my right brain has been babbling nonsense, and my left brain has been saying ‘yeah, man, that’s deep’ in the hopes that my right brain will shut up.’ 🙌🏻
As someone with no sense of smell, this struck me as especially apt: “The smell of the Om was the stink of the grave intermingled with the pungency of myrrh and the fleeting aroma of unrequited love.” Wow :-)
I know that you’ve been on a hiatus lately and so you haven’t been posting as much. But I suspect this could mean you’re working on the second novel. I can’t wait to start reading it! The last one had such a beautiful conclusion.
Thanks, Daniel. I've been trying my best to keep up with my reading here, and have been enjoying your latest posts! I'm always excited to see your name pop up in my inbox. I know I'm in for a treat :-) I wish I could say this hiatus has been fruitful, but life keeps getting in the way. I'm worried I might have nothing to show for it in the end. Keeping my head down and trying to finish something... anything! Until then, looking forward to your future posts. They're always inspiring.

Thank you again for the nice comment, Adrian! By the way, just ordered “The Pelican Crossing”!
Thanks so much, Daniel. Hope you like. And if you might bend your perceptive mind to a review at some point, that would be very gratefully received!

Thank you so much for the compliment, Jacquie.
